Overview

The Federal government has mandated that employers are responsible for protecting the health and safety of employees which includes mental health. Over 30% of disability claims are related to mental illness and related issues. This brief program helps employees reframe mental health and wellness and gives them and teh employers the language to have proactibve and productive conversations about mental health in teh workplace.This session is designed to help individuals and leaders understand how to recognize and support themselves and others during stressful times.

After this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the signs and symptoms of mental health
  • Understand basic human needs
  • Understand he purpose of emotions and the impact on mental health
  • Understand what to do when someone discloses mental health or trauma at work
  • Understand what you can do to help yourself and others
