Overview
Conflict around work issues and differing approaches is normal and healthy in a high-performance work environment…interpersonal conflict is not. This workshop will help you recognize the differences between the two and how to deal with conflict productively and positively.
What will be covered: This workshop begins by exploring the roots of conflict and typical communication patterns that lead to conflict. You will understand how you get triggered in conflict and will develop positive responses to conflict. You will also learn your preferred approach to dealing with conflict and develop personal strategies to enhance effectiveness.
After this workshop, participants will:
- Recognize and deal with ineffective communication patterns and understand how conflict develops and plays out in the workplace
- Strengthen relationships with others by understanding their own approach to conflict
- Be more effective at resolving conflict and having those “difficult conversations” with others
- Understand the important role healthy conflict plays within teams
- Build trust through more effective conversation
